1Who is responsible

This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2This website

No cookies, no tracking, no analytics. The hosting provider keeps technical server logs (such as IP address and time of access) for a short period for security. The Financial Check runs in your browser; your answers are not sent to me.

3What I collect, and why

• Email: what you write, to reply to you.
• Call booking (Cal.com): name, email and time slot, to arrange the call.
• Clients: questionnaire answers, details of your investments and pension (including your pension fund certificate), meeting notes and my recommendations. Swiss financial services law requires me to assess suitability and document my advice; I also need them to perform our contract.
• Invoicing: name, address and invoice details, to meet accounting duties.

I do not sell your data or use it for advertising. I share it only with the providers below, where the law requires it, or on your instruction.

4Use of AI

I use an AI service (Anthropic, USA) to help structure analysis and drafts. Anthropic processes the data on my instructions and does not use it to train its models. Every recommendation is reviewed and issued by me personally; no decision about you is made automatically.

5Providers and transfers abroad

Each provider acts on my instructions under a contract. Where data goes abroad, it goes to a country the Federal Council recognises as adequate (including the EU, and US companies certified under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework), or under standard contractual clauses.

6Retention

• Enquiries and bookings that do not lead to an engagement: 12 months.
• Client files and invoices: 10 years after the engagement ends, to meet documentation and accounting duties and to handle any claims.

Data is deleted when the period ends.

7Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you and get a copy, have it corrected, have it deleted unless I must keep it, and object to its use. Write to sergio@valentiaadvisory.ch; I answer within 30 days and may ask for proof of identity. You can also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8Security

Encrypted connections; client files on an encrypted device with encrypted backups; access limited to me.
